Mold Can Grow Anywhere

Mold can even grow in a garage, a pretty well ventilated area, but with the right conditions mold can spread like, well, mold!  Once the environment of darkness, moisture, a habitat such as drywall as pictured here in the before picture it will spread very quickly. 

A lot of mold is a surface mold but unfortunately when a mold gets into a porous material the surface cleaning will do no good.  As shown in the after picture our technicians had no choice but to remove the drywall dry out the area above it properly and re-construct.  That is another service SERVPRO of Hayward offers, re-construction!
